Paul T. Nawrocki, age 80 of Rossford, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was born on September 11, 1937 in Rossford to Constantine and Catherine (Zajac) Nawrocki. Paul was a 1955 graduate of Central Catholic High School and proudly served in the US Army. He was employed with Libbey Owens Ford Glass Co. as a carpenter for 34 years, retiring in 1999. Paul’s favorite pastime from a very early age was spending time on the Maumee River where he also enjoyed taking family and friends on pontoon rides. He enjoyed hunting at his brother in-law’s cabin in Pennsylvania, gardening and his yearly family vacations. Paul was an eagle watcher for the DNR. He was a family man and was always clowning around and making people laugh. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Paul was always helping others and would strike up a conversation with anyone. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
Surviving is his loving wife of 53 years, Irene (Kornasiewicz) Nawrocki; children, Paul J. (Laurie) Nawrocki, Mark Nawrocki, and Marsha (Tim White) Nawrocki; sister, Ursula Halleron; grandchildren, Kathryn, Gregory and Michael Nawrocki, Alexandra and Maxine Birdsell.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, his twin Peter and Bernard Nawrocki; sisters, Connie Nekoranec and Joan Koschinski.
Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. Rossford, Ohio 43460 on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 2-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2 PM on Friday, July 6, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church where the family will greet guests beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be private. The family suggests that contributions in Paul’s name be directed to All Saints Catholic Church.
