Phillip E. Reamsnyder, age 62 of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Genoa Retirement Village. He was born on August 25, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Theodore James and Patricia (Powers) Reamsnyder. Phillip was a 1973 graduate of Rossford High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Toledo. He was an accomplished musician who played the drums, guitar and piano as well as composed and recorded music. Phillip provided private music lessons to many area students and used his music as a ministry to uplift others. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Surviving is his loving wife of 39 years, Susan (Vidra) Reamsnyder; sister, Kathleen (Edward) Hanline; mother in-law, Melda “Cookie” Vidra; brothers in-law, Len (Joni) Vidra, Tom (Marcia) Vidra, Bob Vidra, Ed Vidra, and Ron (Barb) Vidra; sister in-law, Angela (Joe) Stallbaum; and step-father, Donald Williams. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore James Reamsnyder and Patricia Reamsnyder Williams; and father in-law, Leonard Vidra.
Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd., Rossford, Ohio 43460 on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 2-7 PM where a funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the funeral home.
