Angela F. Mazur, age 89 of Rossford, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at The Manor at Perrysburg. She was born on January 21, 1929 in Fremont, Ohio to Joseph and Frances (Novak) Celek. Angela married Irvin Mazur and together they raised four children. Angela retired from Rossford schools where she was employed in the cafeteria. She was a longtime member of All Saints Catholic Church where she was active in the Senior Ministry. She enjoyed Polka music, cooking, baking, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Robert (Marcia) Mazur, Kathleen (Warren “Buss”) Mahaffey, Sandra Ingraham, Jackie Pohlman and Galen Ingraham; grandchildren, Jason (Kristen) Mahaffey, Ryan Mahaffey, Molly (Andy) Witker, Laura (Kelly) Basham, Kyle (Jana) Ingraham, and Kaitlin Pohlman; great grandchildren, Megan and Keagan Mahaffey, Kylee Walker, Summer McCloskey, Soraya Jackson, Savannah and Lauren Stratton, Olivia and Audrey Witker, Adley and Cameron Ingraham; sister, Lucretia (Glen) Saller; brother, Edward Celek. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Irvin on August 3, 2006; brothers, Joseph, Stanley and Vincent Celek; sisters, Mary Danback, Stella Nietrzeba and Dolores Snyder.
Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 2 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 10 AM at All Saints Catholic Church where the family will greet visitors beginning at 9 AM in the church narthex. Interment will follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg, Ohio. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Manor at Perrysburg for their attentive care over the past few years and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the loving care given to Angela in her final weeks. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or All Saints Catholic Church.
